She pursued her MBBS, Diploma in Obsterics & Gynaecology (D. G. O.) and Master of Surgery from Moti Lal Nehru Medical College (MLNMC), Allahabad.

As a Professor

She recently retired from the post of Professor in Obsterics & Gynaecology, B.R.D. Medical college, Gorakhpur after nearly 36 years of professional contribution and enriching experience in surgical teaching.
